Bosun Party
So yesterday evening saw my first ever voyage with the legendary Pirate @musicmee! Alongside us we had the very fine @Skulliah and @specialadvisor, making up a fine crew of Boatswine indeed!
Following my experimentations with Sshteeve86 to see whether a fresh account dealt easier quests in Devil’s Roar (see Topic here ), it was long past due that Sshteeve stretched hiss sea legs and tried to complete those achievements… boy was it tough going though!
The Night’s Task: Order of Souls Voyages
We managed 2 different Order of Souls voyages during the course of around 3 hours; fighting off hordes of Skeletons, including a suspicious looking Skeleton Captain:

Oh and on more than one occasion defending ourselves from a crew of daring Sloop sailors! Eventually landing around 30/40k in gold for the evening’s sailing.

Volcanic Intervention
Blimey those volcanoes! The odds just weren’t in our favour, with Fetcher’s Rest I believe causing us much pain and torment with intervals of around 5 minutes between eruptions! Sshteeve’s Final Thoughts
As with any session on Sea of Thieves, it really doesn’t matter how much gold has been earned, or whether you manage to complete everything you set out to do, you will have made memories. A good crew is hard to come by at times, but boy, when it’s right it’s right!
Don’t worry so much about rushing those commendations, don’t worry about the gold and the doubloons and the grind… just enjoy the game, have a laugh and try to keep a smile on your face folks.
I know I’m definitely getting back to the waves at some point this weekend… this new content is just too damn fun to miss!
