Suggestions to make Skellie thrones and statues worth doing..

@personalc0ffee If I had to throw a guess I would assume it was to try and “Funnel” (Is thet the right word) players onto the game for the specific time. Maybe they are tying to hit a specific scale for each event they hold and like it as an incentive.

But the way I see it is people will do that for the limited cosmetics anyway so if they did what I’m suggesting it would work on there advanatage In the sense that it would get people who missed out back on because they have something to work for.

Seems like a win win. :)

@drbullhammer Yeah I no that they can be done, but being completely honest I don’t feel there is really any incentive to do them.

Where if they had little rewards for doing them I believe it would give players including myself a nudge to go out there and get stuck in.

And in the opinion the more variety of things to do in SoT the better, even if you have to be given a little nudge out the dock.

@knifelife Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I believe that doubloons should stay exclusive to the players who participate throughout the duration of the event. If you want to get the titles you still can (albeit at an incredibly slower rate [Regarding mermaids at leasts]) but if you want to get the doubloons, then you should have to do it whilst the event is active.

Perhaps this is a biased opinion because I usually have enough time to 100% these events whilst some others do not - however my opinion still stands and I am completely fine with the way these Bilge Rat Adventures function.

I mean if I were to find the mid-ground then perhaps only allowing to get doubloons whilst ANY event is active; for example, if the Forsaken Shores DLC has an event, then you'd be able to get doubloons for all of the prior adventures.

I was thinking a similar thing and that’s why I don’t think it should be like how they would have been on the events. There shouldn’t be any 10,20 or 50 rewards. I was thinking more along the lines of 5 max and mixing them up with little gold rewards to.

I think the main focus should be trying to get on while the event is active, that is where you should be rewarded the most since it’s current so I completely agree.

I was just trying to think of little ways to throw people a bone who didn’t make it in time and also just give some players abit of variety in what they can do.

I personally look at all those commendations and just die a little inside, I’m conflicted because I like doing things like that but now the event is over there isn’t really anything telling me to go for it. While if there was some mediocre rewards I would be more inclined to just go for it. :)

@personalc0ffee I think you are spot on about the teamwork part, kind of adds to the suggestion of why they should give people more of an incentive to go and do them.

@bran-the-ent I think the trinkets would be Perfect for both, they would fit in with the scenery and they are nothing to amazing. Add them with some commendation rewards and I’ll be all over that aha

@bran-the-ent Exactlty, it would also give that little bit of extra help for people like me who are as blind as a bat! Aha

@PersonalC0ffee Another thing I thought off what might benefit the game is if people are getting these extra doubloons and are using them to level up to PL. (I know some people will be adversely against it) but if it does increase the amount of PL’s I feel it would incentivise Rare to add more depth into the end game.

It’s my assumption that there is still a relatively small player base as PL’s so it’s my guess that’s why very little has come out for them. Since they would want to add things for everyone.

But if we get more of them, I would guess more PL content would roll out. Just a random musing I had anyway..
