Imagine island bosses, rare chance of spawning, or maybe you can get quests, like bounty quests, or bottles that when you go to an island it spawns the boss, but certain islands have certain bosses, like for instance imagine your just wandering around on an island digging up a chest and, bing batta bam, a giant crab monster just pops up, and it just goes around and tries to kill ya mates, or like a basilisk boss, or giant beetle bosses, which I mean you see wall paintings dipicting creatures like this all the time, and the bosses are difficult to kill and require like a strategy to them.
And something this game lacks can be gained, actual rewards for trying. You can get crab style armor, and weapons, and like a crab chest, or crab shell to sell.
A pretty sick looking basilisk figure head, or basilisk skin clothes.
Etc.
I feel like islands deserve more than treasure and skeletons, they need more, more danger, more challenge, and more in game rewards you can feel proud as heck earning.
