Frustration with Gunpowder Skeletons

    I cannot stress enough how upsetting it is to see full zero across the board for my Bilge Rat commendations yet having completed the requirements for the events myself.

    I don't know what I have to do, Does it not count if they kill you in the process? I should have unlocked Skeleton Exploder and at least worked my way to earning the other commendations. Shadow Skeleton Exploder for example.
    If it doesn't count if the skeletons kill you in the process, this just turns me away from playing the game further.

    Why should others be punished for doing the hard work and those who remain on the crew. (Possibly AFK) get the credit?
    I don't feel as if I have to provide video proof for working my way towards these commendations because they seemed to have worked for the crew mates I had.

    @seeker-of-peace dont forget most of them require 3+ skellies, this DOES NOT include the one holding the barrel!! U can die, ive died an uncountable amount of times and had it count, but ur crew does have to shoot the barrel, if the skellie blows it himself it wont count.

    Short version- Gunpowder skeletons spawn so close to me I can't outrun the blast radius, doesn't matter if I trigger it or the Skeleton does.

    I just wish my Pirate could run faster that GP Skeletons. They add enough danger to the fight without being fast. When I'm carrying an item my speed is cut down, naturally and that's not an issue any item can be dropped and the player can go into "combat mode". So far every single GP Skeleton has spawned close to me, like any other skeleton type and readying a loaded weapon and firing immediately will kill me obviously and so far I can't out run them in combat mode while sprinting ( Castaway Island, very small combat zone, lost of tree cover so you can't see well but skeletons have no problem firing with complete accuracy through brush and tree cover. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong either, underwater isn't safe either. I sail solo. I feel I shouldn't be denied a gaming experience just because I prefer to game alone.
