So I was out sailing on a solo voyage when I saw a rock that for some reason triggered my adventurous curiosity, so I slowed my ship right down, raising the sails, and then shot myself out over the ocean toward them.. while swimming under water I noticed a weird glow, thinking I had found sinking treasure and skulls I pulled out my spyglass to take a closer look I realised it was 2 Orange lights and a green orb light, like the ones found on the islands, but I couldn't swim deep enough as its far beneath the Barrier.. any ideas?

@spellboundgamer is it found in multiple places? Mine was beneath the rock stacked up you can pass under, of that is what it is that is awesome I wonder If a friend is on the ferry that they can see your spyglass shine
@styl-nz I've know of this during the beta. I thought it was common knowledge as there are several YouTube videos of people diving for it.

At the intersecting map grid of M & N, and 13 & 14. The exact middle of the map grid.
In game it's an arch formed by two huge rocks forming a peak.@admiral-rrrsole ah yes that is where I sank, I haven't really watched anything on YouTube for the game I just play haha.
@power-hansen My crew mate said the same thing about a shipwreck with it's stern out of the water, a few nights ago although to me it looked normal.

Tbh can't remember, I wasn't really looking where I was on the map at that time.
Imo you could check it's something generic just by spawning in the outpost, sailing further out and then just scuttling your ship and swimming downwards. I mean that's what I did the first time I saw those lights.

Yeah, that must‘ve been the same wreck! Stern up, the wheel was visible and one of the masts peaked out of the water.Just checked again and it was the bow that peaked out, not the stern.

Oh there was also spooky music playing but that could‘ve been because of a nearby skullfort.@power-hansen Hmm, I'm pretty sure this one had the stern exposed but I could be wrong. I'll have to check the video footage of that session.
I upped the brightness a lot because you couldn't really see s***e on the screenshots.
The areal glow is what get's me plus the fact that the overall lighting had more of a greenish hue to it.

Its beneth the rock that is shaped like a triangle with a hole in the middle where you can sail through. Just be near it and swim down@admiral-rrrsole I thought about you last night when we came across this shipwreck during the night time. It is in The Wilds so no moon.

It has actually been found before you. And it has been figured out what it is. If you were to go on the ferry of the dead you might notice something. Yep. That is the ferrymens lights wat underwater. I dont know why its there but its cool!
I think the ferry is part of the world, just hidden outside of the normal world box because it allows instant transport to the ferry when you die - you don't need to load anything as it is all already there in the RAM running, so the character is simply teleported to the same location.
The loading screen back to the world would takes some time though due to the dynamic nature of the world; teleporting back to a moving ship, with other crewmates around and the dynamics of the weather, seas etc. - it all has to be re-loaded.

A saw a shipwreck the other day that was glowing slight blue (no visible moon because of overcast). Maybe it was just some weird lighting but it looked pretty interesting, although there really wasn‘t anything that interesting down there.
Do you have the shark figurehead on your ship? ;)

Yeah, I'd noticed an eerie glow like that on a couple shipwrecks, before I realized my shark's eyes were glowing. LOL...

No mate, @purplemajic 's screenshot shows the stern of the ship above the water surface. Your screenshot was of the bow of the ship above the water surface.
Two totally different instances. Same in-explainable glow.
