I restarted after hitting level 32 in Order of Souls and Gold Hoarders, just because I wanted a fresh start. So now I'm grinding Order of Souls voyages and I'm a little curious if anyone specifically knows what each tier brings new to the table with the skeleton difficulty. I have noticed so far that I believe once I hit level 15 I started seeing overgrown skeletons and skeletons with guns. I think a few skeletons started taking four hits instead of three as well. I'm hesitant to upgrade to 20 because I prefer to keep the encounters short and sweet so I can hoard skulls even if they are low level. Does anyone have any specifics as to what level 20 increases? I know the gold skeletons will come into play eventually and the hits per skeleton will also increase at some point. I would just prefer to avoid those encounters where I am forced to cannon skeletons from the ship or where I have to spend 20 to 30 minutes kiting or running buckets of water inland. Let's discuss! I'm at work for ten more hours! :)

I agree, I'm a solo player so I'm not sure what the experience is for other crews, but it starts to get too difficult and lengthy. It would help if the experience and rewards would improve, but it's more of a grind and the rewards can be poor. I just stopped playing OoS all together. Hopefully they'll improve the experience or add more variety to it.I think I'd also be more enthusiastic if enemy skeletons were primarily for OoS quests and Skeleton Forts. However, since they're essentially the only AI enemy I'm just tired of seeing them at all. I'm looking forward to more enemy variety and less skeletons.
Well for what it's worth if any of you want to run lower level OoS voyages that's what I'm going to be doing for the foreseeable future at least for the time being, depending on how long it starts taking to level past 30, so feel free to shoot me a message and I'll gladly run them with ya. Glad to see more people sharing the same sentiment as I do.
To be clear, I do understand that the game is meant to be played in a group, and running a galleon on these higher level voyages definitely seems like the ideal way to complete them, but this is really just my preference and running a solo/duo sloop is just much more enjoyable for me.

I'm right there with you. Solo/duo sloop just work for me. Very enjoyable. My hope is that when the devs mention 'new ways to reach pirate legend' that this will include an OoS alternative. Fingers crossed~
