The Removal of 8 Items from the Store + Allmondbeard = Sad Times

    tl;dr Please reduce the cost of the 8 items to be removed on the 22nd or push back the removal date due to server instability and lost gold.

    First, let me admit that a few days before they announced they were removing items from the store I had dropped almost all my money on other cosmetics. So I started this journey with almost no gold.

    Once they announced the removal of items, I, a collector, decided to hunker down and grind away until I was able to afford them (about 400,000 gold extra was needed). I'm putting in the time and effort as much as I can, and I am getting close but with all the Allmondbeard server issues, I've lost close to 50,000 gold on voyages that I was unable to complete.

    Given the server instability issues and how important collecting items can be for some people (like myself) - I would love it if these 8 items were either reduced in cost or the removal date pushed back a week.

    @bodhislam you know, that they want to remove them from the game, even if you bought them, they're gone...but you get the money back

    No Rare said if you bought them you keep them. They are being removed from shops only.

    @schwammlgott nope you get to keep them, the items that are being reduced in price you get reimbursed the difference in price.

    You're upset they are removing the angler-fish figurehead with (maybe, if you look real close, and it isn't dark out) different colored fins? or the sword that is, quite literally, identical on anything but color-calibrated displays? I'd rather these items be gone altogether. I don't want to look at my collection a year from now and realize half the money was spent on identical items.

    Thank you so much. If not for you I would not have known the Grand Admiral Cutlass was on the list. I've already purchased the Scurvy Bilge Rat Cutlass, but not the Grand Admiral Cutlass.

    I was thinking that a whole cosmetic set was being removed. Whew!

    @sir-rhavi I'm not upset with them removing the items at all - I'm just commenting on how it's been hard to earn money for these items that are leaving due to all the server problems!
