Yes it is interesting.. maybe they ARE going to surprise us..
The status page shows the 9th still, maybe they messed the day up on the tweet or something
@luciansanchez82 My guess would be - it was a bank holiday yesterday in the UK, so it's possible that they didn't get everything done that they needed to get done today, meaning they're not ready to patch tomorrow.
@lord-of-goats Can imagine the bank holiday BBQ's went on a little longer than expected with the nice weather. Perhaps a little too much grog flowed!

@luciansanchez82 Probably a problem with the patch coming in. Maybe an unforseen issue that would cause massive issues and they need a day to fix it.
Just my guess though.@shuoink Actually, that post gives me more hope that it will be this week. Moving the date back gives me a "let's move the date back to give us an extra day to get things finished" feeling.

@katttruewalker Fair point :D I mean, the bank holiday may factor, or the service status page may be correct and the patch is still scheduled for Wednesday. Still, I wouldn't say my thought was entirely outside of the realms of possibility 😅

TBH the second half of that thread you linked earlier isnt making much sense at all... just subtle hints and nuances..

Not expecting a big hungering deep release this week myself, it would be a pleasant surprise! For some reason a lot of people do think its showing up even though no announcements have been made. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong on this one. Either way another week or two wont kill meI would suspect (though I certainly could be wrong) that a release like Hungering Deep will have a video teaser/trailer/announcement prior to the actual release. At minimum, the day before it releases (but possibly a week prior).
That is ALL just speculation on my part. And they could surprise drop publishes, but I'd think an official announcement, prior to the release, would be more fitting for them.Regardless... I've got plenty to enjoy on the seas, as they are... so, I'll patiently be pleased whenever it drops. ;)
My guess: News, teasers, info coming soon... publish to follow a week or two afterward (depending on how the work goes).
