had to close and relaunch the game to be able to play again
i did everything from take battery out and turn controller back on, reconnect to bluetooth and even switch to wired
Controller input just stopped (PC) ??
Having an issue where my controller will turn off with the message battery needs charging. I'm able to turn it back on and continue using it with the battery life indicator showing charge.
Have switched my play & charge with another at it's with, so this issue seems to be the controller. Had this issue with another controller in the past which fixed it's self over time.

@tartansnake-8 sometimes you need to update the firmware using the xbox accessories app on PC. That can help with some issues. I have a few controllers that have just gone a bit eccentric in their old age though.
controller isnt old though unless 2 months is old now ?
@splatulated Well unless MS updated the firmware since the controller was manufactured (not since you bought it). Then maybe it's a faulty controller. Could be a manufacturing error or damage or any number of things really. If it's only 2 months old and updating the firmware doesn't help bring it back to where you bought it and get it replaced or contact MS, they are really good about repairing/replacing faulty products.
