My Xbox party always consists of between 6-10 people, often we have a crew try to join our server to have some fun with the whole crew at once, as I'm sure you know, it doesn't work but still worth the try.
We would like to be able to invite more people to our world to play with. Our friends always talk c**p and we sometimes want to handle our differences in a little PvP, in the current state we can't do this.
If simply inviting them to our world would be concerning to people we created a an option to make it more difficult to do.
Our idea was that if you successfully steal a ship from a crew to the point where they decide to scuddle the ship to get away from your crew, instead of the ship being destroyed, it should give that crew an option to add it to their fleet (obviously the crew that scuttled would still get a fresh ship), this would allow for people to bring more friends into a server to play with or against them. We also considered that people might try to abuse it to bring a lot of people in to rule the seas, in this situation there could be a 2 (sponsored/fleet) ships limit or something like that.
We feel this will allow more people to play with their numerous friends and might create a viable option for doing the future raid based battles which require co-operation with other ship crews.
