I logged on and started on a merchant quest to get three chickens. I headed to chicken island and picked up two. As I jumped on my ship I saw a large flock of seagulls and headed to the sunken ship. I found a chest and a skull. Run back to the Outpost to turn in. Now I keep my eye out all the time to avoid sails. I actually had to avoid a galleon that started towards me. But no biggie they gave up after I hid a few times behind other islands. Now before I turn in I do a scan with my spyglass to make sure no sails are on the horizon. After I turn in the chickens and the other loot I jump on my ship and scan again. WOW another sunken ship just appeared. Sail to it, grab another skull and chest. Captain's chest this time. Sail back to outpost. scan again, turn in. Come back to the ship and scan again, and WOW another sunken ship appears. Sail over get skull and chest... again! As I'm sailing back to the outpost I see something glowing on an island nearby, sail to it and found another skull. I had a lot of fun just sailing around and exploring. Not been my normal experience in the game but maybe the population on the servers is changing for the better.
