@killbot3030 it would become another Merchant mission type. You could buy/collect bait to attract different fish.
In a game with such gorgeous water and I can even see fish in shallow waters near shore, it is flabbergasting that Sea of Thieves does not have Fishing.
You could make fishing boats and also let us fish while on sloops & galleons.
There could even be a Fisherman's Wharf faction where you turn in the fish for rep which unlocks new rods, bait, etc.Maybe even it would be possible to take the fish to a tavern chef NPC to cook them?
Please make this happen Rare. Pirates don't always eat bananas. Fishing can be relaxing and fun. It is also a cool social activity.
@mmountain I think a while back on one of Rare's videos someone made a comment "pirates didn't really fish" Ugh. That p****d me off. The fact that there is fish on the banana barrel is another thing that urks me..
