Stuttering with 1080 TI

    Hi everyone !

    I know that topic has been discussed, but last topic is one month old...
    I've stuttering everywhere in the game (not only on the boat), on beach as well, and i don't know if it's my settings or a game problem cause i don't see people speak about that on forum or in stream.
    I have tried low graphic settings, differents nvidia's settings, change my screen refresh rate, but nothing. V-sync is off in the game

    My config :
    i7 6700k 4.3Ghz
    Aorus 1080 Ti 11G
    16Go Ram 2600MHz
    game on SSD
    Screen AOC Gsync 144Hz (same problem when the game is launch in my lowcost 60Hz screen)
    Internet
    up 7Mb/s
    Down 67Mb/S
    ping 14.5ms

    I have an i7 7700K and a GTX 1080Ti and I can get some stuttering and slow down on the MAP screen of all things.
    It seems random, I believe it's just an optimisation issue. I've been in firefights at dawn with 2 sloops and 2 galleons, 60fps.
    Then solo on my sloop looking at a map and its 40fps.... O_O

    Just a random issue. I expect a future game update and nvidia patch will address the issue.

    Same to me so.
    I have 180fps max and sometimes down to 60...
    Friends who have small config have no problem.
    Hope too !

    Try enabling Vsync in-game to see if this solves the issue.

    no problem for my asus 2560x1440 g-sync 144 Hz and my gigabyte 1070 xtreme.
    70-110 with max settings

    you download already new drivers from nvidia for SoT optimizations?

    Yeah all my drivers are up to date ! I know people with big config can doesn't have issues (like streamers)... It's really annoying !

    @kodoktulu Hi there, i get the same but i guess is really the server lag that we experience. Sometimes the game goes very smooth for me and some time (like yesterday before maintenance) was stuttering as hell
