18.49GB update on Xbox One X! Get ready, me buckos!!!

    OK, this is weird. Went to download the update on my One S & it's the same 18.49GB. Not sure why some with Xbox One S are only getting 8.95GB. Does it have to do with the Xbox Insider program, because I am enrolled?

    @cebelicus The larger size could be to do with the 4K Xbox One assets... and since the S doesn't need them the download will be much smaller.

    Or are you saying its different on two S's?

    @musicmee No, that's not what I meant. I'm saying that the update on both my One X & my One S is exactly 18.49GB. I actually have all 3 models.

    @musicmee Yeah, but some with Xbox One S are reporting only seeing a 8.95GB update. Just wondering why the difference.

    You lucky scoundrels.....I pre-ordered back in Feb but by then I could not access the closed beta, lol. On the MS store, the closed beta "Get it Now" button is grayed out for me saying "Coming Soon"

    For now, I shall live vicariously through you me bucko's...

    @revan790 That blows, but as it has disappeared from the Xbox Insiders app, you will most likely be able to join the Open Beta. Here's hoping!
