Most modern games doesnt have split screen functions annymore. My little brother is over, and we wanted to play togheter. We checked out if that was possible, yep it is !. Myself on my mid range gaming laptop, my brother on my xbox one s. It works perfect. even with my (Mod Edit) internet. I was very suprised. I like thise crossplatform thing. I like it even more that i have pre odered the game on the xbox, but im also able to download it for my pc, and just continue. I also can use my xbox controler, and the buttons in game automaticly change when i use my controler, or want to swith to mouse while playing. its great !

@donhardstyle managed to coerce my missus to play earlier...because...testing :D and was awesome. few issues to begin with because my SoT controller kept 'disconnecting' from my PC but I'm fairly sure its because I was still signed in on my Xbox too.
all in all, a good nights fun! :)
@donhardstyle Sea of Thieves controller has Bluetooth too and looks purrrrrty :D
like I said, fairly sure it was because I was signed into my Xbox and PC at the same time and not a controller issue.@donhardstyle yeah, I was literally trying to test for the people that said their insider hub was telling them it was 'pending' and taking longer than usual, try back later...so I decided to sign in (or get her to sign in) to her Gamertag from years ago so I could test from scratch....then I convinced her to join me on a sloop to test :)
just forgot to sign out of my Xbox...didn't realise that signing her in didn't sign me out!
@donhardstyle I had to stop earlier (actually had to persuade my other half to stop...she was all for tearing after a sloop in the distance despite the program she wanted to watch on TV starting already...)
