Trolls that are just out to ruin peoples fun

    There needs to be something done about people who join a crew just to mess with others.

    I just spent an hour, maybe more, collecting chests with a friend. Close to the end of our voyage a player (Mod Edit) joins our crew and helps us collect a chest. We proceed to the next island. Then as we are making our way back to our ship, after collecting two more chests, He places a Gunpowder barrel in the bottom of our ship. Making sure he is the only one on the ship, he then shoots it, and leaves the game. We had absolutely no way to make it back to our ship to save it. And he made sure we were to far away to do anything.

    This behavior is unacceptable.

    I really hope grieving such as this is taken seriously before the official launch of SoT. In fact, I am fearful of what the open beta will look like considering the amount of loser trolls on the internet.

    He JOINED our crew. If I had a way to sail a galleon in some sort of private match I would.

    This game can realistically only be played with your own crew, and I hope that in the final release they let you lock it down to 3 people to prevent random 4th players from joining. Alternatively you may need to find a 4th regular.

    This is really cruddy. I hope we get better crew management at full release. Maybe even a three player ship? Would be awesome!

    Ey man i know it's frustrating but.

    It's not allowed to name shame somebody in the forums matey.

    I advice you take out the name .

    You could make a ticket via ''support'' and click '' toxic player''.

    I like to troll cry babies in the forums, but he is right we need the ability to make them "walk the plank" (kick them off the ship)

    @sprucetexas689 you will be able to have a galleon with only 3 players at release. It just isn't in the beta right now.

    These players shame themselves by doing this type of stuff, and i want to be able to just name them so other people would know, the thing is if we are allowed to name people im sure some people would play victim and get people banned more than is necessary or fair for "griefing" in an open world pvp pirate game with thieves in the name. Such as myself. @Tartansnake-8 would surely have keel hauled me long ago for shooting him in the back at the outpost and stealing his chest. (Jk but edit that name out plz! Lol)

    Inner crew trolling is the real problem, i feel like all we can do is record a clip, this has the name but also their voice and proof of whatever they did. Its really the only way to prove stuff like this happens in a fair way, but even those could be out of context i guess.. get some poor kid all upset then clip his reaction and blame him for it type thing.

    Best solution is to find a good pool of players that you trust arent going to do things like that.

    G'day @xyxcoletrainxyx, it's unfortunate that these scenarios happen but we don't condone name calling in the forums. Rare are aware of griefers within the game and are looking at was to combat this issue.

    @A-Cranky-Eskimo - If keelhauling is added to the game, I'll make sure you're one of the first to test it ;-)
