Code: 0x80004005

  • I'll receive this error code when trying to install the game. Funny thing is, i was able to play 2 days ago, since yesterday iam not able to play anymore not to install the game. It would be awesome if someone could help me with this. Other games from the Win Store and other platforms can be installed without any problem .....

  • @ptownsen09 As far as I could see this morning, the Insider Hub app gives me that error when the Xbox Live Auth Manager service is disabled. You just have to go to Services and activate that service.

    If that does not work, I recommend you raise a ticket to the support.

  • on top of it, i would like to completly redownload all the stuff, but somehow after you hit uninstall the data will stay on your HDD only the Startup APP is uninstalled ....

  • @ptownsen09 As far as I know, the tickets are not deleted, but there is a problem for which they disappear.

    You can find it using the following method that I use:

    1. Search for an email informing you that you have created a ticket. ([Request received] Ticket title)

    2. You will see a phrase like this (in the second line): "Your request (7251) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff."

    3. Open a ticket of the ones you already have and change the final number of the link by the number of the email phrase:

    • ...support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/requests/xxxx

    to

    • ...support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/requests/7251

    If you do not have any tickets try this link by changing the x:
    https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/requests/ xxxx

    i also tried to reset the Windows Store and reinstalling any other APP as in XBOX and Insider.... still teh same error
