I think Sea of Thieves would really benefit from a better pirate customization system.
Instead of only relying on the random pirate generator or appearance potion, players could have optional advanced customization tools while still keeping the original Sea of Thieves art style.
Some ideas:
- Adjust body size slightly
- Customize facial features
- Change details like nose, eyes, beard shape, scars, etc.
- Save custom presets
- Copy and reuse saved pirate appearances
A lot of players spend hours rerolling pirates just to find one they like. A customization system would make pirates feel more personal and unique while still fitting the game's style.
The current random system could still stay for players who enjoy it, but adding optional customization would be an amazing quality-of-life improvemen
