i dont like the fact that sword can remove your ability to run or turn around, that should be removed or nerfed atleast. thats all im asking

Meanwhile..Swords can be countered by any means, if your playing CQC with guns, your gonna be having little difficulty.
Might suggest, distance? Blunderbombs, Fire, BlowPipe, Kegs? Swords cant do much about those, and even DGing.All Im asking if players learn and adapt instead blaming a simple weapon, other wise....

That was sarcasm, but seriously sword needs to be buffed if anything. It’s practically impossible to board via grapple gun if you use a sword with it (the primary weapon grapple was designed for)

Been saying this since the removal of quick swap, the stun is extremely unnecessary.

@metal-ravage It's always astounded me that people expect this game to operate like other, hard-core FPS titles and thus needs to be balanced as such.
@valor-omega Imo that happens because there are not many games out there that can balance pvepvp the way SOT does.
@jamelcompany Sword does not need a nerf. Its the only weapon that doesn’t allow players to eat their way out of fights.

Cuz then they can't gaslight themselves into thinking they have god tier aim. 😂 It's a simple ego issue, nothing deeper than that.
They're not good enough at positioning and aiming, but don't wanna take up the sword cuz it would be "beneath them". It's cringe as hell really lol.
It's what happens to all this cats who try to emulate their fav streamers, but realize they can't be nearly as good half way through. So the easiest way is to blame sword for being "OP", instead of admitting the truth.

Nah, sword is already the least powerful weapon as-is, in the gun-dominated meta that we have.
I would vouch the double barrel pistol takes that slot, that thing has range over the sword, but you would do more damage to the other player calling them a scallywag than you would with the double barrel, and you dont even have to reload to call them a scallywag again! Thats free emotional damage!
