Webtoon ran out of emote codes for SoT comic Webtoon Premium subscription offer

Webtoons says only a paid subscription is eligible for this emote. Since I used a trial subscription from Xbox Gamepass perks I was not eligible for the emote offer.

This contradiction was not stated anywhere on the offer or terms.

Rare says they will not unlock the emote without verification of an eligible account.

If you signed up for Webtoon premium before February 13, 2026 and have not yet received a redemption for the Good Book emote in the coupons tab of the Webtoon app then you may out of luck. Codes were supposed to have been issued on February 17, 2026.

Webtoon support says that the codes have been issued if you were "eligible". The press release mentions terms may apply but there is no terms page listed and there was none in the app. Other people are being told that Webtoon ran out of codes due to high demand of this offer and that replacements would not be sent.

The offer was still advertised on the app during the original promotion period.
