Other software launches automatically when I exit Sea of Thieves

    I've noticed recently that when I Exit to Desktop, as soon as Sea of Thieves closes another piece of software I have called Reaper launches (it's a DAW that I use for music). I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening. I've googled and come up blank so I'm looking to the good people here. It doesn't do this with any other game, just Sea of Thieves - almost ironic that the software that launches is called Reaper with a faction in-game being called that!

    SoT is the Steam Version
    SoT is on a different drive to Reaper (SoT is on one my NVMEs whilst Reaper is on my C: Drive)
    I'm currently running an integrity check.
    It doesn't appear to be a buffered load (i.e. I'm not accidentally clicking Reaper whilst I'm in SoT)

    It doesn't do it all the time - I've only noticed it happen on my first SoT launch of the day.

    Steam and SoT have a ....complicated relationship when it comes to audio. My friend has Steam and I use Xbox, and the cross over is just...bad. So SoT isn't the greatest for audio connections. Why is it forcing your Digital Audio Workstation out? Don't know. If the DAW is anything like a certain program I have, it's probably told to run on start-up. Honestly, putting it on a different drive wouldn't help, or even matter.
    If I HAD to take a guess, it's trying to help with the processing (key word) of SoT's weird audio, but doing it in a BAD "I'm helping but don't know what I'm doing" kind of way.
