Can anyone clarify if tall tales or adventures will be coming back at some point. If they don't introduce new IP Tall Tales or original Sea of thieves lore tall tales, it's so weird how we just haven't gotten a single tall tale for the past 2 years, it might even be more, I can't remember.
Are Tall Tales done forever?
I doubt that they'll make anymore unless they're partnered with a third party that will generate some revenue with emporium cosmetics.
They take a lot of time to do properly and then most players go through them once and never touch it again. It's not really an effective use of resources for a live service game.

The good joke: rest assured, they don't need to release Tall Tales to generate revenue via the Emporium.
We all know that the Emporium is the most updated skin store of all in terms of quantity.
As for resources, I don't agree: on the one hand, we saw the craze when APL was released (look at Steam's figures, for example), and this was more than compensated for (in addition to all the skins sold in the Emporium).
This is a choice of storyline, not resources, and that's the problem!
Because if they had planned to stop making stories, then they shouldn't have created endless stories, with forgotten characters and so on...As I said, for years I've had the impression that developers don't know how to manage things. Take FH:
First: Tall Tales
Second: Aventures
And now: SeasonEvery year, or almost every year, developers change the way they do things.

As far as I know, in their Season 16 podcast, Mike already said there's no future plans for tall tales. I feel bad for those who enjoy them.
They also said they had no plans for PvE servers or to change the FOV...

@europa4033 That's really unfortunate, I really was looking forward to a pirate's life 2. Tall Tales are one of the biggest things I like about sea of thieves, it sets it apart from other games. I guess sea of thieves may change in a better or worse way in the future.
@potatosord no they haven’t. What they’ve said is they’re intense work and take a lot of time and resources, so making them is not a priority considering other content they have in the pipeline.
