[SUGGESTION] Drink/Play/Sleep while sitting

  • alt text

For social interaction, it would be nice if you could drink while sitting.
    Now it feels very static...
Bring up the guitar and play a tune, or have a sip from the Tankard (you will feel the effect once you stand up)
The sleep emote could also be used, snoring at the table while seated.

    Cheers!

This could also help map out where most social interactions usually occurs, instead of only aligning it to Ships, Rare could map out the different Taverns where sitting occur, and you could even add Community events towards it and fill up the pubs around Sea of Thieves, instead of just blasting cannons at each other.

    Cheers!

  • Absolutely. It's utterly baffling that you aren't allowed to do stuff while sitting, both in the tavern and aboard your ship. I mean.. How is it that we aren't even allowed to fish while sitting on the edge of our ships? Instead, we are only allowed to sit there like some kind of makeshift figurehead.

  • @felix-ashur Yeah, different "Seats" could have different options.

    • Tavern seat: Eat, Drink, Sleep, Play instrument
    • Captains Chair: Eat, Drink, Sleep, Play instrument (+ some navigation interactions, add notes to the ships log, give commands etc.)
    • Boat Ledge: Eat, Drink, Fish, Play instrument
    • Harbor Ledge: Eat, Drink, Fish, Play instrument
    • Stool: Eat, Drink, Play instrument
  • @admiral-oom minor revision to your last point.
Eat, Drink, Play instrument, try to sleep, fall off stool.

  • Also add the possibility to puke on the table after too many grogs =P

  • At the Tavern they could also include some Dice and Card games, make gambling your hard earned coins a thing.

  • @admiral-oom al valid ones but gambling becouse of regiona regulation and changing game rating is probably off board.

  • Maybe just Dice and Cardgame then, no gambling :)
In one of the Skeleton Shrines there is even a set up for a Gamemaster (D&D).
Would be fun if you could purchase that as a Trinket and put it on the Tavern Table.
And it would display what the other people around the table rolled or some simple mechanic.
