This could also help map out where most social interactions usually occurs, instead of only aligning it to Ships, Rare could map out the different Taverns where sitting occur, and you could even add Community events towards it and fill up the pubs around Sea of Thieves, instead of just blasting cannons at each other.

Absolutely. It's utterly baffling that you aren't allowed to do stuff while sitting, both in the tavern and aboard your ship. I mean.. How is it that we aren't even allowed to fish while sitting on the edge of our ships? Instead, we are only allowed to sit there like some kind of makeshift figurehead.

Maybe just Dice and Cardgame then, no gambling :)
In one of the Skeleton Shrines there is even a set up for a Gamemaster (D&D).
Would be fun if you could purchase that as a Trinket and put it on the Tavern Table.
And it would display what the other people around the table rolled or some simple mechanic.
