Can't make another account for sot

This is a known issue. You cannot be logged into more than 1 account at a time. You’ll have to sign out any and everyone currently on your Xbox except the one you want to play with.

I play on Xbox and wanted to have a new pirate without losing my old one so I created a new account.

Im curious as to...Why players wanna do this.

@burnbacon quite a few reasons. 2 of my friends made alt accounts because they want to get into content creation and wanted their name to be for the content and to start from nothing. Mostly making tutorial style videos.

Some people want a male and female pirate to play on without having to pay for the potion over and over.

Some people just want to start over while still having their previous progress. Though I think you’ll see this one less now that season 11 came out with the new level 500s but it’ll eventually tick up again. There’s other reasons than these as well, but these are some really common ones.
