  • @snake323co its part of the balance, if this would happen than I basically had all my barrels on my sloop maxed out with:
1 cannonball barrel with 2 pages of cannonballs
1 cannonball barrel with 2 pages of chainshots
    2 pages of wood planks
Both fruit barrels maxed out with pineapples.

Have fun fighting me when i spam chains on all your masts.

Fyi, each barrel has a 2 page limit
And each page is a 4x4 grid so 16 slots, each slot holding a max of 99 items.

    16 x 2 x 99 = 3168

    So i would have:

    3168 cannonballs
    3168 chainshots
    6336 wood
    6336 pineapples

  • This is basically "Please, screw over new players even more". If you want stuff at the start of voyage, just use captaincy stuff and/or look whole island.
    Just no, lol.

  • Why can't we keep our supplies that are in the ships barrels?

Each "Session" is treated like so. New Day, New adventures, new everything.

Picture this, one crew starts hoarding nothing but curse balls. You come across that crew....that sink you so fast you dont even have time to blink!

It's ridiculous to spend an hour collecting supplies, then sail for an hour or so, just to lose your stuff when you leave.

Solution: DO.NOT. Do that. Dont spend hours collecting supplies. ^_^

You shouldn't be penalized by having all your stuff removed from you.

It also called Fairness/Balance. Every crew that joins the server is more than likely gonna have the same number of supplies when they join the game from start. Again, if you allow this, your gonna end up running away from players with a collection of Wraith balls. :P

  • Hard pass on this idea. Imagine running across an experienced brig crew that spent a whole session prior farming anchorballs and peaceballs from skellie ships, and also has a page or two full of wraithballs. No thanks.

There needs to be some baseline with which to start each session, and starting each ship type off with the same supplies is a crucial part of that.

  • Lol only save fireworks and worms. 😃😆

I am 100% okay with saving fireworks, I love the fireworks.......but they would seriously need their own dedicated crate or barrel if this were a thing 😅

Just make a very small crate right next to the ammo box on the ships. It's a nice out of the way place, and make it a bit shorter than the ammo box so it minimizes opening fireworks when you really just wanted to refill your ammo.

  • I like the idea until you think about it over the long term.

Yea, I like the idea of being the ship with hundreds of chains, cursed cannon balls in droves, and even those sweet phantom cannonballs. Then I get sunk and lose it all. Not salty, that's part of the game, I get it. Now imagine sailing around and every ship on the server but you has hundreds of cannonballs, chains, cursed balls, phantom balls... It becomes a deadly environment for new spawns.

Great mechanic on paper, but in practice it would just widen the gap between the haves and the have-nots.

  • @snake323co you can literally use the dive mechanics to hop from outpost to outpost meaning you can now supply your ship much faster than ever before just vote to dive to taletale 1 start for a random outpost and you have supplies on demand I do this at the start of every session!
