As a guild leader the Guild Chronicle does not show enough activity. In an active guild I would miss seeing that certain guild mates were active and sailed if I'm not checking several times a day. Please let us see 3 days or more of activity before it disappears. Also, I would like to see entire crew list of who went out on a guild ship so I can see who a is active. You could also add a number total next to each guild member showing their contribution to the guild, showing how much leveling, gold and emissary rep they have contributed to the guild. It would be fun and make recognizing guild mate's success easier.
GUILD CHRONICLE NEEDS MORE INFORMATION

It would be fun.
It should be fun but a lot of people don't want it added for fun, they want it added to roleplay production boss in a game that is meant to be enjoyable, not a job.
I'd love to share my activity more but I know what it would be used for in other guilds.
@wolfmanbush Yes that is true and as a guild leader there is no doubt that if i see no activity from a guild mate in a month, I would use it to open spots for players that actually play. There are also many guild types that accommodate every player, so If you find yourself in a guild that feels like a job with a boss just switch guilds. I'm also looking for active guild mates for my guild and I feel I'm not alone in that. It would be fun if top three contributors got to wear a special hat or title while they held that spot in the guild. I think this would help develop relationships within the guild.
IMHO the best compromise for this would be to show the full crew in each chronicle entry.
Not how long they played or how much they earned but simply that they were on the crew.
This gives leaders a general sense of who is playing without creating some toxic scoreboard players have to be constantly chasing.
It would even be needed but the limit of 24 is so low for a normal guild it creates a situation with MIA players.

status and hierarchy not relationships
guilds didn't need any grind at all to create an environment of community building. It needed features for communication and fun for any sized guild, not more grind in the game for a few guilds to show their power off with.
