Ahoy, I have filed a ticket and not sure if what's happening is a bug or by design, but I lost a lot of doubloons.
So you can only have 1 Quest voyage for the skull of fate and ALL your captain voyages, that you have purchased are no longer working.
So is this a bug or feature? Also, perhaps avoid voting them down until it's fixed..
Also the price for Fate of Skull voyage is now 300 doubloons.
Rare you really want us to get 60 Chests of Fortune?
P.S. 300 * 60 = 18 000
The captaincy ones were super bugged so they just removed them completely… and I guess to try and balance the grindability of FOTD they made them super expensive.
I also don’t know if it was bad RNG or not, but I have been getting less skulls from the skeleton fleet than I remember…
The 60 isn’t correct though, they did confirm that it should show your previous chests/60 and not a new level of 0/60. So if you did the original 30, you only need 30 more.
I’m honestly not even bothering with FOTD until maybe next month. Then hopefully whatever issues there are have been resolved.
@abjectarity So can I / should I expect a refund? I lost at least 1000 doubloons, that's 3 fotds with current prices.
At first I thought it's a bug. After another 2-3 voted down, it was obvious we are not getting the compass..
Then I thought, hmm only one per player...maybe thats why..So done the regular quest...still had 7 left. Vote down nothing...So I thought, maybe the 6 were token ones...Voted all of them down...Nothing...
And that 0/60 - 30/60 was officially confirmed by Rare? Previously I only saw someone mention here that it was just a discord mod.

P.S. If it's acceptable for the game to rob you, no player ever should receive any punishment when they find a way to exploit the game.
As an example some way people used to bug out Veil voyage to get all the loot.
