Level Factions Increase.

  • Increase the levels of the factions, HG, OOS, Merchant and Hunter Call to 100 or higher, maybe specific curses for every faction? Titles, cosmetics for your pirate and ship. I might sound crazy but if Hunter call's level or other faction was like the PVP Hg levels to 9999 i would grind it

    50 is plenty for most mortals, to say nothing of the 75s currently in the game. It's frankly still a tall task for people that play "nomally" to get to PL - something like less than 5% of players on XBOX are even there.

    There comes a point where you are catering to a decided minority and turning off the rest of the player base from even trying or enjoying their own progress.

    Don’t trust achievements. So many alt and Smurf accounts put it out of wack

  • I wouldn't mind it. Maybe not bother with many rewards for it but just remove cap

  • I dont know about you guys, but for me those levels is an incentive to play solo. Currently I have all maxed, most commendations I really wanted unlocked and the millions I make I just spend on random cosmetics. So if I log on and I have as an example 4,215,580 it really does not matter if I log off after a solo session with 4.515,580.

    But it does make it a little bit more exciting if I was level 70 and finish at level 72...Obviously its not much, but its honest work.

    Its like parmigiano cheese on a meal, it just makes it better. :D

  • I am against them increasing the main factions. I worry it would cause even more gatekeeping than the "hours played" already does. I also don't love how long it takes to do all the rep and "item sold" stuff. So not having more rep increases is nice.

    I also like seeing the numbers go up though. So.

  • I'd go with just simply losing the level cap for HG. No extra rewards or anything, just a fun number to flex and represent how much time you've put into it.

  • If you're going to do something like this just dive in and create the prestige levels.

    Once you're 75/75/75/75/50/30, click a button that sends you back to the pirate generator where you make a new base pirate and all your levels with the trading companies reset to zero. Your name gets a little star by it or you get a title like "Prestigious Captain". Allow players to do it five times or so until they get five stars or "Prestigious Admiral" title or something.

    I mean, I agree with @Merlin-MAV-K that this is just catering to a decided minority, it's a feature only the most dedicated players will even consider. Most players won't even know what it means until the first time they see it.

    New activities, not regrinding existing grinds.

  • Theres already a curse for the order and gold hoarders, you just get them through tall tales. No clue what a merchant curse would look like however since they are just normal people doing normal people things.

    I wouldnt say giving stuff to late game players is turning off the rest considering the majority of seasons so far have added something that new players can do with ease, and very little that is made for late game players. A brand new player has more than enough content in this game to entertain them for months.
