I think one of the most fitting rewards for reaching Athena 30 would be a unique curse.
Even though this would be only 1 cosmetic i think it would go a long way towards making Athena 30 much more rewarding as curses are loved by the community and a majority of the players actively seek out commendation to unlock the curses.
This curse would be like the ancient outfit and would make the eyes and mouth glow as well as having glowing tattoos that are either premade set of tattoos or like the ones in the hungering deep event that you would be able to use your unlocked tattoos and they would simply glow.
How Athena 30 could feel much more worth it with 1 reward
@icypotato1 Yeah reaching the grindy faction max level felt super underwarding. I have not even tried that silly ancient costume on.
Also, can you please give some curse, like the pirate legend one or similar, but with glowing red eyes, for whichever faction. ^^
@zig-zag-ltu in my opinion red doesnt fit athena and also all the other factions (except for hunters, and hg which already has curses) are too easy to have a curse as a reward but i think a red one would look sick
We need MORE customisation. I really feel that RARE dropped the ball with cosmetics and customisation in general
I have ALOT of hours in this game and I have a hard time spotting experienced players versus inexperienced players by cosmetics alone (skeleton/Athena curse exception)
Destiny 2 does this really well. The gear you have earned and equipped is instantly recognised and as you get more experience, your gear becomes increasingly more complex and impressive
More curses, even ship curses would be great.
