@goldsmen, @Tesiccl
I'm hoping I can do enough to get one of the in-game titles. I probably should have re-read Ready Player One again to refresh my memory on some of the puzzles Ernest Cline used. Although, I'm still not sure what to expect from this.

I've read enough of your posts/threads to know you'll do awesome in this mystery.
@goldsmen
Ok, So I haven't been able to figure out much of the poem for Stage One. However, a painter named Fred Barnard came up with the "Pictures Paint a Thousand Words" quote.
@lucky11 I do believe there is something in the picture linking us to the first word which I believe has to be either a banana or a pomegranate because the tuneless drums are just the barrels in game i believe and pigs eat both bananas and pomegranates I believe so..... Just a thought though so... carry on and let me know what you find!!
@ltrhodes6316
Here's my thought process: the word "link" is capitalized...I'm wondering if we need to find a codeword that shares something in common with food, time, and death.
I'm thinking it may revolve around the stove, considering the rest of the poem. I was hoping Fred Barnard had an illustration that depicted something like that, but I haven't found any of his illustrations that are themed around food or anything like that.

I want to bounce something off you guys because it may be a leap in judgment. Fred Barnard apparently had a good working relationship with Charles Dickens. There's a quote by Wilkins Micawber that says, "Welcome poverty! Welcome misery, welcome houselessness, welcome hunger, rags, tempest, and beggary! Mutual confidence will sustain us to the end!"
Could 'Mutual Confidence' be the code phrase? I've been going back and forth, but 'Mutual Confidence' can be 'shaped.' It could also be like food in the Sea of Thieves in that 'Mutual Confidence' helps us to 'survive both shot from gun and cutlass hit;' in other words, 'Mutual Confidence' could help us overcome obstacles. We would also need to check our confidence 'all of the time' to make sure we haven't become over-confident. That would theoretically be the 'link' between all the clues provided in the poem, right?
@glitched-oni448
Did it say how many 'tries' you had left? I hadn't plugged it in yet because I didn't know if there was any kind of limit.
@lucky11 Just to update everyone, Ive been watching a few streams to try and get an understanding of this thing, we have looked at the images of SOT, considered the barrel of banana's at Sanctuary outpost, even looked into the fact that Larinna is eating a mango in-game but so far.... nothing, hopefully will be getting it soon!! Keep me in the loop everyone!!

Now I am going to list these here... Its the capitalized words... now it may just be deception but I will list nonetheless to see if we can get some hints out of them
SHAPED
DONT
COMMON
PIRATES
FOODS
DARK
TIME
PIG
PEN
FRUIT
DRUMS
PICTURES
WORDS
LINK
I think theres more to it than just whats highlighted.
@retronukem13 remember that these riddles are for looking through the internet for the answer and not from sea of thieves itself.
@bonesburrgade So the streamers are now looking into the making of the banana on their insta, there is a snapchat thing on how it was made and a code inside of the banana like at the bottom at the dark part.
Ahoy all... Just going to share some thoughts, in case they are relevant...
First line:
I trust you’ve seen my rules are SHAPED for Hoarders at their heart.
Hoarders could be pointing us at the actual image with the riddle - which has Gold Hoarders journals. "SHAPED" could be related to the shapes top left near the ink well - there are 5 shaped like islands
The last line:
PICTURES paint a thousand WORDS – or so some artists say.
You must seek to LINK the two. Now hurry on your way!
Now, the following two graphics are info graphics that were tweeted out. The "WORDS" are the highlighted (all caps) words in the riddle itself, maybe the "PICTURES" relates to this info graphics, as well as maybe others they've tweeted out.
(Note that DARK is fairly prominent here, could that be something? Could be nothing)
A couple more potentially relevant images that were also tweeted out by Sea of Thieves:
Note the DRUM in this one -
And this rather different looking FRUIT crate:
