I've been fishing for a week now and just spent 30 mins trying to catch the forsaken devilfish at the outpost in the devils roar. I haven't had any luck. I'm gonna try fishing at a volcano while it's erupting and hope that helps? But if anyone has any tips I'm open to suggestions.

That won’t help, there’s no trick other than being in the roar at a safe location for yourself. I fished for 7 hours one day for this foresaken fish and didn’t get 1! But I was on a galleon with 3 other people also fishing for this forsaken fish and they each caught 1 in those 7 hours. So in the end I netted 3… but it wasn’t my own catch! That was ok since I needed it for Legendary Hunter and not the milestone. If you also need it for the Legendary Hunter and not milestones, my suggestion would be to find more people to fish at the same time, raises your chances.
The RNG in this game can be super annoying sometimes. Still waiting on that shrouded ghost lol!
@abjectarity 7 hours jeez lol. I'm so glad you don't have to kill the Shrouded Ghost for the Legendary Hunter of the Sea of Thieves title. But thanks for the advice, I'll just keep trying.
