It's my opinion that the rack em up commendation is too difficult to complete now that we have so many same faction fights. I am level 235 in servants and I only have like 125 guardian sinks out of 500 for the commendation. It seems I will be 1000 in servants by the time I complete this commendation. I feel that it should be maybe 250 guardian sinks or 500 total sinks for the commendation. Thank you

@sea-of-reggg agreed, considering we have same faction fights now, and since guardians has been heavily outnumbering servants, they should make it include same faction fights or remove it entirely.
The problem is that the commendation was created before the same faction battles. Now that cross stamp migration is a thing, the same faction battles need to be removed. If not, we need to be given a choice.
My solution is, dive looking for opposing factions. While underwater, on the map there should be the option to either cancel or hunt the same faction. It should still prioritize the opposite faction but if you choose to hunt the same factions then you can be given the option to fight
I am not as opposed to the same faction fights as I am the difficulty of the commendation. I would be much more okay with fighting reapers as a servant if they would just make this commendation more obtainable. I understand that they improved queue times but we might as well keep same faction fights as well to keep the waits for a fight minimal.
I just think that at least cutting the number of sinks for this commendation down ( maybe by half )will fix it. Or making it 500 total sinks in the mode and not just Guardian sinks, No need to make it too complicated. They seem to do similar things when they add new features to the game, later realizing they made a commendation or a cosmetic too difficult to obtain. Especially since as we all know this mode and it's commendations were designed before the same faction fights .
They most likely didn't realize they made one commendation very difficult. I am okay with "rack em up"being "Grindy" but I just (again) want to say that it seems to be you would need to be level 1,000 almost to complete it. I was really hoping to have all the commendations (cosmetics) for a while as I work towards the gold bones.
@needsmokes if you are level 100 reapers then you have only just begun your progression on the "rack em up" commendation. I am at level 235 but have 125 guardian sinks since receiving my blessing. You need 500 guardian sinks AFTER receiving the curse to get grade 5 and complete the commendation. This is why it should be nerfed.

Regrettably, Rare won’t reduce the number of sinks required because of the few people who already completed the commendation. It’s the Arena wins commendation problem again.
The Arena commendation required 240 wins. So many people complained so it was reduced to 100. However, the few dedicated Arena players complained because their hard work was diminished. Rare ultimately reversed their decision and returned it to 240 wins.
I’m a little over halfway in both factions. I personally wouldn’t be offended if the number was reduced to 100 or so but other would be. Unfortunately, it will just take time to complete the commendation.

I pray that’s not the case. It sucks because no one else can finish the Pirate Legend set. The True PL legend weapons are now legacy and we have an ugly recolor of them. If this mode dies, the best curses ever will be locked away and declared legacy curses.

Well this is what you get when you only put shiny new stuff on top of recycled buggy old content instead of actually focusing on making your game fun for players.... Like they do every time.... Just watch as FotD are gonna be the new cool thing for maybe 2-3 weeks...
As for the issue of the commendations with same faction fights, there are already 3/4 threads about it and how amateurish this all looks.... But c'mon, we all know how hard it is to edit a conditional statement in the codebase
