Fallen Sea Dog Set

@crispymathew777 This was suggested already at the time and no dice. Rare are very much about incomplete sets nowadays and stand alone pieces work very well for customisation.

Yeah unfortunately Rare seems to not complete sets all the time, I've been suggesting this for so long now along with other things for Arenas closure but alas, no dice.

Fallen Sea Dog should be a complete set including ship parts/weapons/equipment/clothing items. I think these could possibly be all given as part of an adventure or something or mystery continuing the loss of Sea Dog Demarco.

As for OG players though, I've suggested for a long time that everyone who got Triumphant Sea Dog would also receive a Silver Curse. Exactly the same as the gold curse, except silver, this would be given automatically to everyone who accomplished the title Triumphant Sea Dog.
Then as for Legendary Sea Dogs, a complete Victorious Sea Dog set with again ship parts/weapons/equipment/clothing. We have the blunderbuss already, now we just need the rest. It would be a complete black and gold set with some red accents in there occasionally. This set would be given automatically to everyone who accomplished the title Legendary Sea Dog.

I've lost hope of Rare doing this for the most part, but maybe there is still a chance, very doubtful though. Not sure why they don't complete sets.

@tesiccl Full sets work extremely well for customization and are better in every way, leaving things unfinished make no sense. Individual items not part of a set can stay that way but when you release an item such as the Fallen Sea Dog Lantern, it is a retexture of a pre-existing Sea Dog Lantern which itself has 2 separate sets. So making a third and leaving it unfinished is rather strange, but not surprising from Rare.

I still hope that one day they may complete the Fallen Sea Dog set along with the Victorious Sea Dog set and maybe even a Silver Curse for Triumphant Sea Dogs

@northernlaw you go ahead hoping, I’m just happy we get a variety of one offs.

@tesiccl Trust me I've all but lost hope for Rare doing that, as they have shown little to no interest in pirate themed cosmetics in recent times but you never know. Like for example this season they have some pretty good items in the plunder pass, and they also have some good outpost shop cosmetics, although overpriced and ones that have been in the game for a while already, good cosmetics nonetheless.

I don't think we've heard the last of Lesedi and DeMarco. I'm sure we'll get the gloves mentioned by @CaptainMcGuffin and maybe other pieces from this set as their story unfolds. :)

It will be interesting to see how/if the comic book story ties back into the game down the road.
