I just picked up a green bottle in the sea:
"By Order Of The MERCHANT ALLIANCE ye are hereby requested to collect 3 crates in the name of Serik from North Star Seapost by official order" blah blah blah.
Guys. Kudos on thinking to put a Message In A Bottle in the game. 10 out of 10 for style, but not so much for clever thinking.
When I think of a message in a bottle, I think of some poor swab, marooned on a remote island in the armpit of nowhere, making a last, desperate attempt to get someone's attention to affect a rescue. So, why can't we have that? Why not make it like and escort voyage?
- You find a bottle: "Help! My ship has been sunk by a horrible sea monster and I'm stranded on Fool's Lagoon. I'm out of food and at my wits end! Please help!"
- You sail to the island and find the swab. "Thank you SO MUCH for coming to my aid! If you can return me to Galleon's Grave, I'll gladly reward you for your efforts!"
- Sail for the destination, taking pains to protect the swab. Success yields a suitable reward.
Idk. I haven't given it a lot of thought- my crew is waiting for me to get back to the game. lol Cheers!
