@jester1027 If you want to act like I have a flaw in the idea of doing things at your own pace because of FOMO, then be a little more dedicated, stop throwing the controller/keyboard when you get a losing streak of 5 and just keep playing till you get better.
If you desperately want something, maybe show how badly you want it by improving yourself and being able to withstand the odds, and that goes for most of the playerbase on the forums that don't like the current state of the Sea of Bones. If you're quitting because you don't like something about it, actively removing yourself from the participation and asking "why is this dead" is just hilariously hypocritical.
You're also going to moan and whine about fixes you want right this moment when the yearly tradition for the Dev team is that they don't come back to office until the next year following the weekend before Dec. 25th. So go ahead, keep saying its dead when the devs have shown they can very well fix issues with this adventure mode mechanic. Just keep in mind that they're not making this progression any easier for you lot, and it's time to start learning how to step up your game if you want to fight for your faction and start win streaking.
This is a game made for people with varying play styles. You're assuming everyone on here has the time to dedicate to "getting good". Casual players being paired up against people who play this game for a living is a bit broken. The "just get good" argument is tired and needs to go away. Let me paint you a scenario. It's like pairing a high school basketball team up against an NBA team. The high school team might be an excellent team that wins most of their games, but they're just not at the same level as the NBA team. This mode wasn't designed just for sweaty streamers and people who live 365 on this game. People who want to gatekeep parts of the game, ruin it for the rest. If that was Rare's intent with this mode, than don't be surprised when you can't find matches in the future like arena. Players are not going to waste their time sitting in 30 minute queues to be paired up against players that stomp them into oblivion. The mode rolled out with flaws and that's a fact. People on the forums are just pointing out these issues.
I don't see anyone on here demanding Rare employees to give up their vacation time to fix the matchmaking. At least, I never did. My concern has always been with matchmaking, queue times, and the reduced rep. I also have no clue where you read that I'm busting keyboards and going on losing streaks. I just want my time to be respected. Grind for the sake of grinding is ridiculous. The amount of rep gained from wins and the time commitment required in order to get the curses is laughable. Rare didn't like how fast people were ranking up, so they dialed back the rep to make it more grindy. That is ridiculous in my opinion.
