Rare, you game is 4 years old and we still dont have a proper full black longcoat. Ik there's DA coat and others, but Im talking about smth more realistic and simple, something less edgy and pirate-like. We need something more drak/brown items featuring leather or something. SoT has some great cosmetics, but it is lacking serious ones. Could you please add them, Im sure Im not the only one who feels that way
We need more grounded cosmetics
To ma is sad that Rare didn't implement some deeper customization systems early in development.
I understand not doing stuff like APB reloaded, but more "simple" stuff like being able to choose the color of each part of a cosmetic (like many other games do, just to make some examples: DC Universe, Warframe, Anthem, etc...). Would also be cool to choose the material of each section of a cosmetic like with Anthem but I doubt this would be compatible with the SoT art style.
Anyway, sadly this will never come as they would need to remake every single cosmetic from scratch for them to be compatible with just changing colors.
@pellahh Im afraid not, but I wasnt even hoping of that (altough that level of customisation would make the game SO MUCH better). The game already has files with unreleased cosmetics, and some of them just look sick. The twilight (or some other one, I dont remember) set was in those files, and then got released. I have no idea why they can't do the same for other cosmetics.
P.S. if some1 in Rare knows the answer to that pls answer, Im rly interested
I do love silly and strange cosmetics, but so many cosmetics from the old leak just need to be added some day.
I like seeing variety around, but there definitely needs to be more piratey feeling stuff, for the longest time i used the hunter coat, and the fearless bone crusher because there wernt enough black piratey coats... Merricks coat was a godsend for me just because its extremely piratey, without being overly edgy or mixed with some unusual features.
I'm loving that game! I bought it back when it released as an early access to support the Devs, can't wait for the official launch update :D

I dont think Musicmee actually does any development, just forum moderation, they probably dont have any more info than any normal insider, could be wrong of course!

One factor that concerns me is the massive focus on Twitch cosmetics and time limited cosmetics.

I wish they’d let a bunch of the time limited ones enter the stores. So newer players have more cosmetics to work towards. More stuff to keep them in the game.
Yes, I understand there is a very vocal group of pirates out there who will die on their exclusivity hill. But at the very least, I think ALL Twitch cosmetics should appear in stores after a year of exclusivity.

it's their content and their items it wouldn't be a struggle to combine it together and the benefit is boosting their own content
the ingredients are there it just needs to be mixed together imo

Give the trailer a rewatch just because it's cool!I agree with the major message of this statement: some more low level simple clothing would be welcome but not needed.
There is currently a long brown overcoat that I wear. It's sold as a normal buyable coat in the store. It's long brown and has many pockets and looks great. If your dissatisfied with your outfit I recommend:
Buy a long coat, wear no shirt underneath and add a golf curse. If not happy with head shape wear a long brimmed hat, there are many buyable in the store.
But my major concern is the time limited cosmetics.
This game has a very large amount of cool cosmetics locked away in a cabinet from years ago (i.e. old events) I've noticed recently that sot has dialed back on the time limited clothing which is great! But I would appreciate that most clothing could be collected through commendations.
(Also sidenote new game modes would be great rare!)

Nope ur ABSOLOUTELY rightI feel earning the stuff through just earning levels would be cool, because the it's something you can build towards, instead of grinding out commendations for clothes
And yeah more overcoats would be cool
