Personal Notebook / Captain's Log?

  • I think implementing a personal notebook that you can write in to keep notes, or use as a roleplay feature would enhance the gameplay.

I always love writing personal logs in games (for example, "Project Zomboid") because I feel like it helps get you into the atmosphere of the game.

It would also help with keeping notes of what you're going to do next, like keeping track of what animals are on what island, ect.

It would be best to have a notebook that is account-bound so you could pick up where you left off when you re-enter the game. As an option, you could choose if you'd want to drop a copy of the book when a player kills you. I think it would be funny to see what the poor pirate I just killed had lived through, and vice versa.

  • People would just end up saying ToS things, memes or nothing at all. 1 out of 10 would actually be serious and that's a stretch

That would be amazing. I love roleplaying, and that might be really interesting. As for now, we can just do that here on the forum, but having it in game would be amazing! 10/10 for the idea
