Why is there not a single commendations or title for the box of mysterious secrets? I've cashed in 2 and beyond a bit of gold, they're just a novelty. For being as or more the the Shrouded Ghost youd think there would be SOMETHING more then just a pittance of gold...

@r3troraccoon It's an easter egg. Not meant to know it exist, it's supposed to be fables, and any recognition for finding it would make people more aware of it, taking away the surprise of finding it.
It's what drove Stitcher Jim to insanity and on a killing spree on his alliance, and when speaking to Grace Morrow, she hints by basically saying "If you, by chance, ever find one again, bring it here so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands"
She kind of hints it exist, but in a way that it just sounds like dialogue. So when a player reads that and finds one, they go "Oh! It IS real!"
I don't want people to hunt it down, which, if there were awards or achievements for it, they would certainly do so, and then it wouldn't be such a 'secret'

@d3adst1ck I thought merges don't affect the same island you're on. Meaning you can keep all your loot on an island through a merge, if you are within range of it. Is this not the case?
I found two on two separate Ashen Athena voyages, back when PL was capped at 10. I'm convinced I'm going to run into a third before I find my first shrouded ghost.

Might only apply to things you've physically touched, because other items I had dug were there but not the box even though it was within a few paces of at least 1 item. I didn't pick it up because I was coming right back for it. I'll make sure to touch it next time.
