  • It's a pirate game, I just don't see dragons being added.

Rare would also have to get a partnership with dreamworks and get all the rights sorted out, which I just doubt they'd do.

  • Next we should add Orcs, Elves and Skaven?
The game is themed after pirate popculture, outside things would be highly immersion breaking.

  • I disagree, although dragons might seem like a cool idea in hindsight, none of the mechanics or weapons in the game allow a circumstance where dragons would be acceptable. Cannons aren't fast enough to take down a nimble dragon, harpoons wouldn't have enough range, and something about shooting a dragon with a gun just doesn't sit well. Not to mention they might be unescapable, since they are always looming above, and the fire breath? That's just. nightmare waiting to happen. Dragons are more akin to a medieval era, not sure why, but it works well to fight a flying beast with swords, bows, and arrows.

Same with vikings, vikings are really just pirates but in a. different time line and obviously different equipment. Vikings didn't have access to gun powder, cannons, nor guns during their time periods but if they did have these things, they'd basically be pirates. They plundered and stole, and they were ruthless... same as pirates

  • I think one fire dragon in the devils roar could be fun and they just love gold they are drawn when you hoard too much. She could be in the chicken style but absolutely huge. Breaking your mast and spreading fire on the boat. Herassing you and stealing loot.
Cant penetrate her skin with canon but the harpoon works and makes for a fun ride!
