Magic Chickens?

    Do the chickens change colors in the coop while stashed on your ship? I swear they do! I caught a white feathered and when I went to deliver it, it was a black plumed. This is not the first time it has happened.

    Anyone else have this happen?

    I remember someone saying they had the same bug on the Sea of Thieves discord. They said something like if everyone in you're crew dies and goes to the ferry, the chicken changes. Pretty sure someone here also said that he and his crew mate were looking at the same chicken which was a different color for each of them.

    But this is a bug, it's not an intended feature.

    I had a black chicken and upon return from the ferry, it had turned white.
    It still counted as a black chicken when i turned it in so it seems to only be a visual bug.

    @aronfist yes, this is a bug...but it's just visual, the animals change colour, but still count as the ones that you've catched

    @schwammlgott Thanks, matey! I didn’t know that. I saw the change and gave it a whack with my sword and went off to catch another before time ran out. I’ll try keeping it next time.
