Big Merchant Shipwreck Bug

    Ok so yesterday and today I have been hammering out the new merchant shipwreck voyages.

    I have probably gotten 4 shipwrecks were after you get the last clue to sail to the shipwreck, I just find a manifest floating on the water, no shipwreck to be found.

    The manifest also may be in a totally random location when this happens. After my last voyage today, the last clue was a around 5 squares or so from the outpost ( it was galleons grave or dagger tooth I forget)

    The clue told me that they were hurrying off to their destination and what could go wrong. Well there were NO birds to be seen, I sailed around forever looking for the birds. Finally I sailed back to the last clue spot, and noticed a LARGE group of birds the total opposite direction of the outpost, probably another 5 squares or so from the last clue spot. I sailed there, and the manifest was sitting ontop of the water, no shipwreck. This is the 4th time between yesterday and today.

    Hoping this gets fixed. Anyone else having this occur?

    @abulgymoose I lost 8 shipwrecks this weekend to this bug. it sucks

    @captain-coel it does suck big time, especially after a 7 clues to get the key lol.

    also ill update while im here. I was sailing from ancient spire to galleons grave. that was the route the map said the "ship" took. the last clue was just ne of skull keep. the floaing manifest ended up being slightly sw of skull keep. it should of been between the last clue and galleons grave. bizzare.

    I have no idea about this but, but i do know that the map doesn't show what rout the ship took. The map showed the rout the ship planned on taking before leaving port. I have found the shipwreck well off the provided path and i believe it was intentional.

    Also, did you say 7 clues? you must be much further along with the merchants than i am. I have only got 4 clues in a single mission so far, so maybe this bug has something to do with higher level missions.

    right, i understand the route it took is just a guide. and i have also found it "off course", most of them are. i just follow the clues. i have no issues finding the shipwreck, only if the bug occurs in my original post.

    it very well could have something to do with the level, i have no idea. im hoping that this thread gets noticed so they can look into it

    so if anyone else has had this happen, please post here with a description.
