Was attacked by another ship so I fired back and went on for a minute they started to sail off but then they started joining my crew. One would join my crew set my ship on fire leave another would join and do the same thing.
How is this allowed?
Absolutely ruined this game for me knowing this can be done, I like fighting people on fair terms but this is absurd!

@darkdiverellery They looked up your Xbox profile, saw that you were online and joinable, and joined your game. This can only happen if you're in an open crew - next time, don't use an open crew. That setting allows anyone to join your crew. Set it to closed, and then only friends may join you.
For the record, you can report them for griefing, since trolling your own crew is a form of griefing and is 100% reportable. To do this, use Xbox Live's Report function (the culprits will be on your recent player list), or you can report them to Rare's Support team here on this site.
@galactic-geek I am playing in a closed crew as I like being a one man sloop troop.

If you start a closed game with a friend and they leave does that open your game to others?@darkdiverellery unless u can prove they hacked the game to join a closed crew u was in an open crew. U may have thought u made a closed crew but it does happen

Are you setup for anyone to add you as a friend without asking or do you have it setup so that they have to ask your permission to add you as a friend? If anyone can just add you without notice it would be easy for someone to add you, do some damage and then remove themselves after.
