    In all game fps Xbox, the game have a assit aim for help Xbox player controller, but, in this game, nothing and the pvp to the Xbox controller is bad, very bad.. So bad to the player come to the pve alliance server..

    Im sorry for my easy English.. But for you, it's a good idea to take to this game a aim assist to help xbox controller player?

    Regarding your suggestion, I don't think it's a good idea. With crossplay being able to be disabled, this feature becomes unnecessary on servers for Xbox players. On crossplay servers it would be uninteresting, many players (like me) play on PC servers because they like the challenge. In addition, Sea of ​​Thieves is a game that does not take you by the hand and does things for you, it is made so that the player has to test and improve their skills.

    The choice of input is not limited to xbox players! Controller players are not be definition xbox players, as PC can also use a controller and xbox players are able to use mouse and keyboard it is now officially supported. Additionally xbox players have the exclusive right to join controller only servers if you so please.

    Either way the aim assist isn't really needed in my point of view, because the game has already considered precision aim by not having localized damage multipliers. You do not require to land a head-shot to be able to compete with others, hitting them in the behind (anywhere) does the same amount of damage. The game already was designed considering a discrepancy in the precision the input models give, though yes the differences still have an impact on combat, it would take away from the skill ceiling for controller players.

    Tip: Having difficulty keeping up, up that sensitivity level!

    I have always played with a controller in SoT, but haven't always kept the same settings. Over time, I slowly changed the control settings to more sensitive options and would take time to adjust to them. Once I felt that I was comfortable with it, I would change the control settings again to be a bit more sensitive again. Slowly, over time, I maxed these out while acclimating myself to them. In this way, I further closed the gap between myself and that of pirates that use different, potentially better, input decvices.

    As Rare added more customizable controller settings, to once again further close that gap, I took the time to experiment with those and adjust to them as well.

    Now that, along with my knowledge and experience gained since the closed alpha, my pirate can easily compete against most, regardless of the input devices that others use for themselves.

    @menphils it's not bad whatsoever, I stick it to the PC players and can hang with the best with my Xbox and stock controller. Ofc there's is a difference but honestly with enough practice aim isn't the issue, it's the instant 180° turns keyboard and mouse can do.

    The controller is not as bad as you think, but there are places that make using the controller difficult.

    Rainbow Six Siege is another game that I think does not have Aim assist, although, in that game, there are Rapid Fire Weapons that allow for aiming mistakes, while in Sea of Thieves, you have 1 shot.

    And I do agree that controllers, for a game like Sea of thieves could use an Aim assist, but it is very possible to do without aim assist. It takes extra work than being on a Mouse&Keyboard but its possible to be very good with the controller.
