I liked the fishing event, because it was weekly grind.
I don't like the megalodon event, because it's daily rng.
It fine. I say the Event is more of a testing purpose for something down the road to come.
Plan out releasing certain actions between time periods, before locking and unlocking the next part. Along with the payout upon completing them on time and killing certain required targets.
Week one, Hungry deep. Wonder if the next Week for...Curse Sails? will be similar to introduce something different.
How many players can play the game daily? How many of them can play enough hours to get lucky with rng?
It took me 6h to find a meg yesterday, I was supposed to play for 3h so would have failed if I were a normal sane person instead of gaming addict that wastes all free time and some sleep on games.
The three megalodons weekly are much better, because you get more time per a meg and also the weekend. But it still has significant rng aspect to it which will leave many players disappointed and that's not good.
