Volcanos erupt way too much. I just sailed up to the skull fort in the devils roar. As I sail, two volcanoes erupt along the way (including the fort’s) no big deal. I dodge and take minimal damage. I park the boat in a spot that also will avoid a lot of incoming debris. I weather out the fort’s volcano. I used most of my planks (around 17 holes patched) during it but still had 9 left over. Once the volcano stopped, I went on land did the first round (it took less than 3 minutes.) I found a random disgraced skull on the ground and started back to my ship to drop it off while the second round began. As I climb on to my boat, the island’s volcano erupts a second time. This all took place with in 4 minutes of the original one. Geysers started, but before I was even able to get to my ship, had ended. The shaking of the ground moved my ship to a more exposed location, where it was torn apart. I understand volcanos happen (it can be a great addition to the game) but it’s a joke if it takes place that quickly. In addition, it does not make the game fun to play, when it happens so frequently. I view volcanos like a mini boss. I beat that one now, I should earn the reward of not having that volcano erupt again for a set amount of time (30 mins).
Volcanos Erupt too Frequently
@rayhotep devils roar is in no way rewarding enough for the risk hence why people never really go there.
@mr-dragon-raaar what biases are you going off of? I was hit by 3-4 blasts in a 30 second period which sunk me. But my main point was the frequency, it’s a joke how fast it started up again.
