How to make sea of thieves the players favorite game

@europa4033 when it asks for high seas, safe seas, and sand box of adventure, if a player clicks on high seas they are greeted with the option saying casual:contains less ships/players per server, or survival: contains more ships/players per server. From my experience I would think that majority would probably pick survival mode. Most players already are stacked on gold and it would be better to be contested on medium-high tier loot runs for the adrenaline.

No idea how they'd manage to accomodate more ships/players per server, when the max is currently set. In that case, there'd be no need to ask players to join a server with more ships/players per server, and simply go on the usual High Seas. Thing is, a lot of people probably wouldn't mind "farming" (so to speak) on low-pop/casual servers, since many who choose that option will likely be trying to work on emissary. Sounds like a Reaper's paradise.

@europa4033 as said it wasn’t just simple porting for rust console, tbh they have a smaller crew, ALOT harder game to optimize and a new engine to switch to along with anti cheat, flying vehicles, graphic overhaul and much more. and tbh a lot of people dislike d11 because they are really lazy sometimes. So I’m sure that rare can make something happen for a new gen version. Don’t know why everyone is so against what I have to say [mod edit].

Because we don’t like your ideas for various reasons. One of your ideas was dolphins changing ship speed, man…

The mods really have their hands full today with extremely strongly opinionated Castaways who can’t handle responses to their ideas from experienced pirates.

  • @donaldpump46186 As a player who has played for over 1000 hours I can legitimately see 1000 more hours of things I want to do in this game and I already have ghost and skel curse. I'm done the hourglass grind and I still see hundreds of hours of stuff I want to do.

How would they even make the map smaller btw? Do all the islands still stay the same size?

I do kinda wish we could have more players per server but you can already see how unstable it is.

If they did a winter biome it would be better for it to be a new place rather than replacing somewhere. It would make less sense lore wise for it to replace an established part of the map.

Why do we need more things that randomly affect ship speed?

gestures vaguely Next Generation! New! Improved! No More Limitations! If You Just Do Vague Thing! (ignoring that rust and SoT are nothing alike and SoT has an entire cosmetic economy.)
