  • @japes9609 Pirate and Progress is linked to your Microsoft Account/Gamertag.

    As long as you don't delete your Pirate, you should be fine.

  • I’ve got the answer if you go to your settings on ps5 and go to saved data and game app settings then upload or delete from condole storage chose delete then delete sea of thieves cache wait five minutes before going back in and it works

  • @look-behind-you even with the temporary fix it's annoying having to do the cycle every time I log in hopefully it is fixed soon

  • Had this problem for three days and tried it still didn’t work it’s frustrating that’s all my freinds are playing and I can’t get on because (kiwibeard) error I hope it’s fixed soon

  • Everyone has mentioned this method of deleting the saved data to fix it but it isn't working for me. I deleted all saves, spent 3 hours redownloading and still won’t work. Using the same PS5 i switch to my brother’s account and it works fine, move to mine seconds later and the servers are down and stays like this even when switching back and forth

    If you are receiving the Kiwibeard / Lavenderbeard error on PlayStation®5 console, please try the following:

    Clear local saved data from PlayStation console and relink your Xbox Live account:

    Enter the consoles Settings menu
    Select Save Data & Game/App Settings
    Select Upload or Delete from Console storage
    Scroll across to the Delete option
    Highlight Sea of Thieves and select Delete
    IMPORTANT: Wait a few minutes before attempting the next step
    Reboot Sea of Thieves where you can attempt to relink your Xbox Live account once again

  • This is getting crazy 3 days without a fix from the company game has been out on ps5 for 1.5 weeks and already this they should offer refunds if it takes another day

  • Maintenance error I did the restart thing and everythng played it fine then came buck up log in my Microsoft then log back out came back up with the maintenance

  • The delete save data and relink account thing qorks but its only temporary it gives me kiwibeard error multiple times a day its really grtting annoying now. Also if i do the temporary fix then go to bed the next day when i get on i get another kiwibeard error. Really frustrating at this point i just want to play not delete data and relink account multiple times every day, hurry up and fix this permanently thanks!!!!

    In your Audio settings in game try toggle the Speakers/Headphones settings...

    Have heard a few pirates having success with this!

  • @madebread639597 i really thought this game was down for maintenance but in 2 days i was like BRO? and easily i was able to fix it but after 3 hours i came back and it just happened again i hope they fix it soon

    The temporary work around will need repeating to get back in... fixes are incoming, they just need a bit of time.

  • Same here, have to relink account everytime I start the game, indeed beyond annoying. Hope it is fixed soon....
