I also cant get into the game since update launched, same with the insider version. Ive tried everything everyone has said incl reinstall.
Game Crash at Rare Screen at launch......help
@commodoremerlin I meant that if all servers are up, you should announce that they are up. In order to community aware that they can enter the game.
@rarecsm Its working now flawleslly! Its the same issue like with Killer Instinct Game. You need to uninstall sonic studio 3 an restart.
@andisloarg I did this and still not working. I also took all ASUS software off my pc and nothing.
So confused.
I have the same issue. I have uninstalled/reinstalled this game 4 times and in different drives as well. Same results.
and still, same results.
I tried everything from this site:
When i disconnected my Ethernet cable, i managed to get passed to where it says "Press any buttons to continue" and then it just crashes. I do know that you need to be online in order to play this game but when i am connected to the internet, it doesn't even go pass by the "R" logo.
This is also after the update.Same Probleme here, Game keeps crashing when i Start it between the Rise - Xbox Logo everytime without an Error since 21.04.2020 the Day before it worked completely fine.
Already tried everything in the Support Post & Reddit and also the mentioned Sonic Studio / Radar.
Still Same crash, Eventlog (German):

@anumrak Uh, when I answered your question about empty barrels the servers have been online for a few hours already. With notifications on Twitter, Discord and the forums. Why would I make another post about it?

</Event>Thank you to everyone who posted possible solutions. Unfortunately, none of those got the game working for me. :(
First time I start the game, it shows the SoT image in windowed mode, which then closes again. Every attempt to start the game afterwards results in nothing happening, not even the image I mentioned shows up. I can get the image to show up for once if I do the wsreset and app reset and computer restart.
I've tried everything mentioned in this thread except for reinstalling the game (It would take hours with my slow internet). There's no such thing as a Sonic Radar, Sonic Studio or A-Volute on my computer.
Send help
@strikeit3999 I tried it and it does not fix it for me. :(

Nope mate, I'm in the exact same situation as you ... I skimmed the internet and sadly I haven't found any solution so far...@vipor51 Try installing another app. I downloaded and installed Spotify. I restarted PC after that and tried Sea of Thieves. It gave me the "app didn't shut down corrctly" at first. I selected "no" at the file integrity check and the game loaded to the main menu.
@chumnation I tried installing a free app from WS and this didn't work either. Thanks for trying to help.
@vipor51 I've also had no luck. I've uninstalled both Sonic apps and did the whole app download, no luck. Starting to worry that Rare is going to accept that the Sonic app fix is enough and give up on actually fixing the issue.
I really don't want to, but I dont see any other option at this point besides installing Windows 10 fresh. :/
@takuboto Is this fix still coming? At this point I have done everything besides a fresh OS install (which some people have tried with no luck) and I hope you guys didn't just accept that some get it fixed with the Sonic apps uninstalled.
@burning36 I'm having your issue as well. I don't have Sonic Radar, Sonic Studio, or A-Volute on my computer either. I reset the Sea of Thieves app, but it still opened up in a window for only a few seconds then instantly crashed. I don't want to reinstall the game either, I have bad internet too. I hope they're able to fix this.
