Rare, Please Could You Rework The Vanguard Sails?

I actually like them the way they are imo they look more realistic then any of the other sails in the game because of how they are faded

I would like to see them upgraded to be honest.. I’m really not a fan of the current iteration. :)

Vanguards are the founders of the game, some of the first to sails these seas, so being the first they should look plain.

You arrive in the game with no cash, the first to set foot on islands so you would have nothing glamours.

I think if they were to change, they should have rips in them, think of ghost sails, so they look worn as you set on the adventure first.

I am happy with mine, but having the rips in them would make them stand out from normal plain while sail.

It's truly interesting to see the mixed opinions on the Sails.

Most people who don't know the sails or don't know where they come from, refer to it as not the best looking sails :/ I have no suggestions on how to change them, it is truly going to be a challenge to keep the look but make them stand out a bit more.

I find this video to be a good watch, it's from the known SoT content creator Captain Falcore. Even the man himself said : "It's not the best set..."

I do agree most people in the Pioneer program got them for free, but a lot of us devoted lot of time answering questions on the forums, providing feedback(be it on the forum or in bug report form). Some even set up Forum pages with reference links to see what's been suggested.

I am very grateful that we got Sails for being somewhat part of the development.

I agree, I am happy with mine, they dont look the best, but they do have a meaning behind them.

I just pointed out something that could be done with them to make them look aged as we were the first pirates to sail the seas.

How do you have them its only for founders and youve just said that you got it around the hungering deep.
Well nice hahaha you are lucky, a friend of mine love to use it but i rarely use it.

@badassfro Oh ok i see you have played the early alpha and beta too but you havent been in the forum.

@badassfro send them a message i for exemple had the opposite situation was a founder but havent got the vanguard sails and i went to the support and they fixed it for me really quick.
If you are a founder then it dosent matter when did you started to be on the forum you should still get the tag so just go and explain them youll get it for sure.

I quickly made this to see how it will turn out.Looks a lot like the Reaper Sails. Would be nice if the white symbol could be gold but then it would look like Briggsy's sails again...

@rsa-pilot I still think they are most realistic sails in the game based on the dirty stains and fade in the sails. Makes it look used and old. Everything else looks the same imo colors with a logo or glowing if that's your thing.
