The rocks are homing missles no joke. me and m friend were at roaring traders seapost when the volcano erupted since we were grinding devil fish. We are a good distance away from the volcano but somehow two huge rocks not only hit our ship but the dock we were fishing off. We died but got back in time to save the boat. The mast was broken and the anchor was dropped as well as broken and the wheel was destroyed. We couldnt even repair because it kept hitting as soon as we lifted the mast up it hit leaving us at the same place we started. Either scale the volcanoes for crew size or nerf them completely. I used to love devils roar but now its pretty much impossible to do anything.

Yes it used to be easily survivable, but expanded ship damage+sloop+volcano is pretty bad. If you are slooping within range of an erupting volcano there should just be a cut-scene showing your boat getting smashed to pieces, lol. Its definitely survivable, but once the mast and anchor are hit, it gets painful. I guess just sacrifice the fish and run away when it starts smoking?
It was nerfed already and was much much more difficult before the nerf.
After the nerf it was too easy, Note it's good again.DR is not supposed to be that easy content.
It's a hard area for crews, the more the better.
Don't hang around on the same spot while a vulcano errupts, if you aren't in a Galleon set sail, get at proper distance and dont ask for nerfs what make it no challenge at all.
What do you want, keep fishing while eruption, make it all easy for slooping?
